Who Receives Funding
The Texas Bar Foundation awarded more than $1,900,000 this bar year to non-profit organizations conducting programs that fit the Foundation’s mission.
A total of $1,926,497 was awarded to 163 organizations during the 2025-2026 Fall and Spring grant cycles. An additional $25,740 in emergency grants were awarded to two organizations during the 2025-2026 fiscal year.
The Texas Bar Foundation does not make grants to individuals, only to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations as designated by the Internal Revenue Service, government entities, and local bar affiliates. All grant decisions are made by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. The Board reserves the right to defer any application to a later grant cycle.
