The Spring 2024 grant application deadline is Monday, January 15, 2024, at 5 p.m. central.

Step 1 - Precheck Your Eligibility

If you are unsure you qualify for a grant, please verify PRIOR to creating an account. Click the preview button to view a copy of the application. If you do choose to apply, you will need to create an account and proceed to the actual application via the APPLY button.

Qualified? Continue To Step 2.

Step 2 - Create Your Online Account

If you've checked your eligibility and are qualified to receive a Texas Bar Foundation grant, please review the instructions on how to create your online account. You must first create an online account in our grants portal in order to apply for our grants.

Now That You've Reviewed The Instructions, Continue To Step 3.

Step 3 - Apply For Your Grant

A grant applicant creates an account in the Online Grants Portal, and then logs on to that account to access and start a new grant application. Your application can be saved as a draft, and when you log on again it’s easy to return to that draft, make edits, and submit the application. Each account maintains a record of the application history that you can access at any time.

Once a grant is awarded, the Online Grants Portal allows grantees an easy way to see the status of their grant, check due dates, and submit electronic grant reports right from their account. No paper applications will be accepted. Please email Amy Weir at or call us at 512-480-8000 if you have questions.

Current Grantees

If you are a current grantee, you can log in to the portal to submit reports.
