The Warren W. Harris Outstanding Nominating Chair Award was established by the Texas Bar Foundation in 2014. The award is given in honor of Warren W. Harris who has demonstrated unparalleled leadership and longstanding commitment to the Texas Bar Foundation Fellows.

Mr. Harris served on the Texas Bar Foundation Board from 2008 to 2012 and was Chair of the Fellows in 2010-2011. He has served as a Nominating Chair for District 4, Houston since 1997. Recognizing the important work accomplished through the grant process and the essential role the Fellows play in that work, he has applied his exceptional resourcefulness and creativity to the profound benefit of the Bar Foundation. He is an innovative and optimistic professional who has demonstrated his high regard and loyalty to the Texas Bar Foundation. Mr. Harris practices appellate law in Houston, and is a leader in the Texas legal community.

Criteria

The recipient must be a Nominating Chair for the Texas Bar Foundation who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to preserving the integrity and diversity of the Fellows membership.
